Frisco's Best Lunch Restaurants

The Uptown on Main, Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe, Ein Prosit, Pure Kitchen, Bird Craft, Himalayan Cuisine

My preferred Frisco, Colorado lunch restaurants are listed in order based on proximity to my office located at 400 Main Street, Frisco. The first 3 on the list are all within 1 block!

Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe - 408 East Main Street, Frisco

Only a couple of doors down from my office and so much more than just a great breakfast joint. Lunch options include sandwiches served on house made croissants, fresh baked bread, or in a wrap, homemade soups, and salads with your choice of house made dressing. I’m a big fan of their chicken salad croissant and tomato basil soup.

Ein Prosit - 313 East Main Street, Frisco

A self proclaimed “Bavarian beer bar” with a menu that focuses around specialty sausages, fresh baked giant German pretzels, house made cheese spread, German salads and pickles. I highly suggest you try a sausage sampler plate. My favorite sausages are the Prost Signature and the Elk Jalapeno Cheddar. If stomach space allows also get a pretzel with a side of Liptauer Cheese to share!

The Uptown on Main - 304 East Main Street, Frisco

Locally owned and operated for over 23 years, Uptown is truly a local staple (formally called "The Boat Yard"). The vast menu offerings nor portion size will ever disappoint. Appetizers, soups, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and lunch sized entrees complete the menu. The power salad is my favorite thing to grab while I’m at the office working. The “Pick 2”; ½ salad, ½ sandwich, or cup of soup option is also ALWAYS a winner no matter the combination and possibly the best lunch deal in all of Frisco. I also should mention that my partner, who considers himself a “wing expert” loves their buffalo chicken wings. Honestly…I’ve eaten here quite often for both lunch and dinner over the years and I've enjoyed each and every thing I've tried.

Himalayan Cuisine - Located in the strip mall between Walmart and Safeway, 842 Summit Blvd, Frisco

Offering a variety of made to order Indian and Nepalese appetizers and main dishes. Himalayan Cuisine has vegetarian, meat, and seafood options available. They also offer a small weekday lunch buffet that is not only affordable, but always super fresh and extremely delicious. Don’t miss out on trying their naan bread. It’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

Bird Craft - Located near Whole Foods, in the same building as Outer Range Brewing, 182 Lusher Ct, Frisco

A Thai inspired fresh food option right here in the mountains! Bird Craft focuses on Thai style fried chicken served up with jasmine rice, house pickles, and your choice of sauces. Order a whole, ½, or ¼ bird. I also really enjoy the papaya salad, bird bowl, and Ahi "Tuna Tots". Bird Craft is located in the same large building as Outer Range Brewing and Mountain Dweller’s Coffee Roaster, so you can easily enjoy a cup of joe or a tasty local microbrew while dining on your lunch! There is always plenty of outdoor and indoor seating available too!

Pure Kitchen - Located on the opposite side of the same parking lot as Whole Foods, 116 Basecamp Way, Frisco

Farm to table restaurant offering organic, local, sustainable food. The best way I can describe Pure Kitchen is “fresh fusion”. Their menu offers the typical lunch type items like salads, sandwiches, burgers, and flatbreads all with a lighter fresher and lighter twist than your typical American lunch restaurant. I almost always order their lunch special for that particular day, but on the rare occasion that I don’t I tend to get anything with seared ahi tuna added to it. Pure Kitchen’s menu is easy to navigate and is a great option for anyone who eats a vegan or vegetarian diet or for others who might have dietary allergies or restrictions.

There are many other great lunch options on and off Main Street Frisco. No matter where you end up, I have no doubt you will find enjoyable food!
